Artist's Comments

These cobwebs were shimmering in the sun all across a field of snowdrops. I couldn't really capture their constantly moving shine, so i tried a few long shots for perspective compression (at 400mm) and bokeh (widest aperture) to get a few of the strands to stand out. It was basically a quick snapshot into the sun, with (intentional) lens flare reducing contrast dramatically. Pushing the contrast back in postprocessing then gives dramatic warm colours.

I think you did an amazing job capturing the shimmering quality of the webs. And the sheer volume of them. The lighting is spot-on, too.
